When I think about what my life would look life if Christ hadn't showed up all those years ago, I can't help but be overwhelmed and overcome by the reality of His great love towards me.

Sometimes we take for granted this Christian life that we live. Our friends, our churches, life groups.. the word, worship, our prayer lives and walks with God... it all feels so normal and such a standard part of our lives. Yet if I look back 10 years ago, the reality I'm living now was so far away from the brokenness and the mess that was my life.

I would not be here if it wasn't for Christ's intervention. He invaded my darkness and brought me out of it and into His marvellous light. I will forever praise Him for transforming this outsider, into one who is loved and welcome in His kingdom. I get to call this life lived with Him MY portion, though I deserve nothing of the sort. I get to call His presence home, through an adoption sealed by the blood of another. The purest One there is.

Lord, you have been so so good to me. I don't know where I would be now if you hadn't called me out. But I will praise you everyday for doing so. Till Kingdom come... We ride.
